Staff members are encouraged to participate in a Strategic Priorities Survey to weigh in on critical issues, including the General Fund budget, programs and learning options, the Whole Child initiative, and theMy Tomorrow initiative.
District administration and the Board of Education will use survey feedback to make decisions informed by community input.
“To ensure we’re setting the right goals for our students and priorities for our schools, we want to engage every parent and community member in an honest conversation about how we can best prepare our students for the future,” says Superintendent Mary Ronan. Staff voices are critical to this conversation.
- The online survey is open until December 1, 2015.
- Staff have received invitations containing links to the survey via email.
- Anyone also can access the survey via the district’s website.
- Paper copies of the survey are available upon request to CPS’ Public Affairs Department: 363-0020. Schools are encouraged to have paper copies available for parents who may not have Internet access.
The survey is administered by K12 Insight, an independent research and communications firm. All responses are confidential, unless respondents identify themselves in the open-ended comments. The final survey report will share only the overall findings, not individual responses.
